CJC-1295

CJC-1295 DAC · CJC-1295 no DAC · Modified GRF 1-29 · Mod GRF

Research Use Only

The long-acting growth hormone releaser that keeps your GH elevated for days, not minutes.

Growth HormoneEvidence:

What is CJC-1295?

CJC-1295 is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) — essentially a supercharged version of the signal your brain already sends to your pituitary when it wants more growth hormone. The clever bit is the modification: natural GHRH has a half-life of minutes, but CJC-1295 lasts for days thanks to its Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) that binds to albumin in your blood.

This means sustained GH elevation rather than brief spikes. For people chasing better recovery, deeper sleep, improved body composition, and that hard-to-define "youthful" feeling, CJC-1295 offers a more physiological approach than blasting synthetic GH. You are still stimulating your own pituitary — just more consistently.

The distinction between CJC-1295 with DAC and without DAC (often called Mod GRF 1-29) matters. With DAC gives you that sustained multi-day elevation. Without DAC gives shorter, more natural pulses. Most biohackers prefer the no-DAC version paired with a GHRP like Ipamorelin for more controlled dosing.

How Does It Work?

CJC-1295 binds to GHRH receptors on the anterior pituitary gland, stimulating somatotroph cells to synthesise and release growth hormone. The DAC modification allows it to covalently bind to serum albumin via a reactive succinimide linker, dramatically extending its half-life from minutes to roughly 6-8 days.

Unlike exogenous GH, CJC-1295 maintains the negative feedback loops — your body still regulates how much GH it actually releases. This means you get elevated but not supraphysiological levels, which theoretically reduces the risk of side effects associated with GH abuse like acromegaly features or insulin resistance.

What Does The Research Say?

Evidence Quality:(3/5)

Moderate evidence. Some human data, mostly animal studies.

Clinical trials by ConjuChem showed CJC-1295 DAC increased GH levels by 2-10 fold and IGF-1 by 1.5-3 fold in healthy adults after a single injection. A Phase II trial demonstrated sustained IGF-1 elevation for up to 2 weeks. The safety profile in trials was generally favourable.

However, ConjuChem went bankrupt before completing Phase III trials, and there were reports of adverse events in later studies that were never fully published. The compound now exists primarily in the research chemical market. Animal and human data both support its efficacy at elevating GH/IGF-1, but long-term safety data is lacking.

Reported Dosages

These are dosages reported in research literature and community reports. They are NOT medical recommendations. Always consult a healthcare professional.

CJC-1295 DAC: Research studies used 30-60 mcg/kg once or twice weekly.

Mod GRF 1-29 (no DAC): Community reports typically use 100-300 mcg per injection, 1-3 times daily, often paired with a GHRP.

Usually administered subcutaneously, often before bed to synergise with natural nocturnal GH release.

These are research dosages, not medical recommendations.

Side Effects & Risks

Flushing and warmth after injection (common, temporary), water retention, tingling/numbness in extremities, headache, potential blood sugar elevation with chronic use. Theoretical concerns about sustained IGF-1 elevation and cancer risk with long-term use.
