How It Works
Glucosamine is a building block for glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans in cartilage. It stimulates chondrocyte production of cartilage matrix, inhibits cartilage-degrading enzymes (MMPs), and reduces inflammatory mediators in joint tissue.
