01 What is Epithalon (Injectable)?

Epithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. It is based on epithalamin, a peptide extract from the pineal gland, and has been studied in Russia for decades as an anti-ageing agent. The injectable form is the gold standard for delivery — bypassing any oral degradation concerns. The core claim is that Epithalon activates telomerase — the enzyme that lengthens telomeres (the protective caps on your chromosomes that shorten with age). Shortened telomeres are one of the hallmarks of ageing, and maintaining telomere length is associated with longer healthspan. If Epithalon genuinely activates telomerase in humans, it would be one of the most significant anti-ageing interventions available. The evidence base is unusual — extensive Russian clinical research that meets different methodological standards than Western pharma trials. 02 How Does It Work?

Epithalon stimulates telomerase production in somatic cells by activating the hTERT gene (human telomerase reverse transcriptase). This is the catalytic component of telomerase that adds telomeric repeats (TTAGGG) to chromosome ends. Additionally, Epithalon appears to: 1. Regulate pineal gland function — normalising melatonin production (which declines with age). 2. Modulate gene expression in a pattern associated with cell rejuvenation. 3.
